    19th September - 1st November 2009

This year, our contemporary art exhibition is dedicated exclusively to the international photographer, Nino Migliori. In the 1950s he was one of the protagonists of the great Italian neo-realist movement.

More recently he has worked on new photographic techniques and created a series of works on “ossidazioni”, “pirogrammi” and “idrogrammi”; these are off-camera photos rich with personal inventions that sometimes anticipate results on the most edge cutting painting techniques. From the late 1960s, his work became more conceptual.

The exhibition will show circa thirty images of parks and landscapes of Le Marche region, by Migliori, created using polaroid films which he elaborated with the technique polar pressures. He has being using this technique since the early 1980s.

The exhibition spaces will be the newly restored stables, the green house, the chapel and the top floor of the Historic Home. This last section will host exclusively a secret series of unpublished works. It will be accessed by the public only through special request and accompanied.
