It is 30 years that Luigi Mainolfi is researching the theme of positive and negative metamorphosis in nature. This conceptual, ethical and technical way of conceiving art is in perfect symbiosis with the Association’s mission. We want to promote events which tackle the fundamental problems of the environment and landscape, and of their social and artistic protection. The sculptures of Mainolfi have been placed in the historic and bioenergetic gardens of the Borgo with a special performance on the day of the opening: a naked woman with an iron mask walking freely in nature amidst the works of art. Drawings were exhibited in the old stables, now restored as exhibition spaces.

Catalogue: The bilingual (Italian/English) catalogue, with all works on show and clear-cut bibliographical notes, includes contributions by the Head Department of the Cultural Heritage of the Province of Ascoli Piceno Olimpia Gobbi, the art critic Marisa Vescovo, the Vice Director of the GAM in Torino, Riccardo Passoni, the President of the Association Giulia Panichi Pignatelli. Colour images.
